# Cancel subscription

To cancel subscription, simply uninstall the app from Settings → [Apps and Sales Channels](https://www.shopify.com/admin/apps). This page explains how, what happens to your widgets and data, and answers common billing questions.

### What happens with billing after cancellation <a href="#billing" id="billing"></a>

The timing of your cancellation relative to your billing cycle affects whether you're charged for the current period.

| Uninstall during free trial                                                         | Uninstall after trial / mid-billing cycle            | Future billing                                                                        |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| No charge at all. You won't be billed for the trial period under any circumstances. | Shopify charges for the full current billing period. | Once uninstalled, recurring charges stop automatically. You will not be billed again. |
