# How to customize widget style

Change colors, fonts, borders, spacing, and more using custom CSS. No coding experience required for basic tweaks. More advanced changes are covered in the CSS library.

**To customize the widget, please follow these four easy steps:**

1. In the app settings, navigate to 'Display reviews**'** → 'Widgets global settings' → 'Custom widget style' and click on 'Edit'.
2. Copy the code from our [CSS library](https://reputon.gitbook.io/reputon-help/google-reviews-app/custom-style-codes/carousel-widget). You can select the widget type from the panel on the left side of that page.
3. Paste the code into the 'Custom widget style' field.
4. Adjust the values as needed and click 'Save'.

Tips for adjusting the widget:

1. For text color, you can use HEX format (i.e #ff8899), or just word (i.e "red", "yellow").
2. For border width (i.e. 1px, 2px), border style (i.e. "solid", "dotted"), border color (i.e #aa4455, #bb6677).
3. You can add 2 or more CSS codes to the Custom CSS field as well.
